Francisco Ataíde

Francisco is an environmental engineer with more than 20 years of climbing experience. He was traveled all over the world searching for the best rock and has opened innumerous routes in Portugal. He was champion of Portugal in 2000, redpointed 8c, on-sighted 8b and 7c+trad routes and free climbed big walls like Free-Rider on El Capitan, Yosemite. Now he shares his experience with the other climbers as a climbing instructor in Sintra Climbing Tours.

Ricardo Alves

Ricardo  Alves was born in Lisbon in 1976 and graduated in civil engineering . From an early age, he got interested with photography, travel and climbing and today he spends much time devoted to his passions. He has visited over 30 countries and his photos have been awarded and published in national and international magazines. Also known as'' Macau'' among friends, he was the great developer of the Sintra bouldering scene, exploring and climbing most of Sintra’s boulders and also founder of the popular blog: http://bouldersintra.wordpress.com/

João Magalhães

João is a professional cameraman with a post-graduation on adventure turism  and climbing enthusiast for the last 10 years. He has been involved with Ricardo Alves in the development of Sintra’s bouldering scene and lately has been using his knowledge to guide climbers through the Sintra’s hills.
